Holland High School Students Begin Global Issues Class

It is time to start up the Holland High School Global Issues Class for the 2007-2008 school year. This year we will be traveling to Washington, D.C. on May 22-May 26, 2008. The program will delve into the richness of the history of Washington, D.C. and the governmental issues of today.

All students in grades nine through twelve are eligible to participate in this class. Classes will meet at 7:00am on Friday morning beginning with October 5, 2007 in the high school computer lab. Students will be expected to attend 90% of the classes and participate in the assigned activities. The first meeting will be an informational exchange about possible fund raisers and expectations for the class. A parent meeting will be held at 6pm in the Elementary Commons Area on October 8, 2007.
