Lake Waco Wetlands

Fifth grade went to the Lake Waco Wetlands, and did a science investigation called Arthropod Adventure.
The students went along the edge of the wetland, and used nets to capture bugs, then sorted and classified them.
They found crawfish, dragonfly larvae, small fish, and many other organisms.
The fifth graders also learned about the nature and purpose of wetlands.
